Full-Time Head Teacher ($2,500 Bonus)

Scientific Adventures for Girls (SAFG) is seeking an after-school, full-time Head Teacher to engage elementary-aged girls and teach hands-on STEM activities in-person, at public schools in the East Bay (Berkeley, Emeryville, Oakland, Richmond).  A teaching credential is not required.

If you are passionate about helping shape our next generation of scientists and engineers – we’d love to have you!  All classes are fun, hands-on and designed to inspire girls to love STEM!

This is an in-person, full-time, permanent position.  The Head Teacher will report directly to the Manager of Programs.  For an understanding about our after-school program, check out what our classes look like: SAfG in Action!  The position will start as soon as the post is filled.

COMPENSATION:

$2500 Bonus
Post: Full-time (40 hrs/week), permanent, non-exempt, hourly employment
Salary: $23 – $27 per hour (depending on experience)
